All bars within a chart

Is there a way to change all the bars within a bar chart to the same color
scheme at one time instead of having to click on each one to change it?

Yes, when you click on one of the bar's this should automatically select all
bars. The problem you are having is probably clicking twice on the bar
instead of once. cliking twice will select only that bar
