all adapters bound to dhcp do not have dhcp addresses...

all adapteres bound to dhcp do not have dhcp adresses, the
addresses were automatically configure and can not be
released....that is what i am getting when taking my
laptop off the network and plugging into a cable modem so
i can access VPN. does anyone have an idea as what i can
do to get a good rel/renew?
 
I am having the same problem when I try ipconfig/release.
Do you mind saying what the card problem on your PC was?
