Alignment of numeric data in a table column

Hi
I would like to know whether there is any way to change
the alignment of the data in the column of a table. I
mean, change the default one that makes text left aligned
and numbers right aligned. I want a numeric field data to
be left aligned in a column when it appears in the table.
This table is actually the result of a query. Since all
other fields are text and they are left aligned, I would
like to have this numeric field data also to appear in a
similar way.
Many thanks in advance

Carol,

You need to consider what you are doing! A table is ONLY for storing data and
not for displaying data. A query is ONLY for returning data from a table or
tables that meet certain criteria. The ONLY reason Access allows you a method to
view data in a table is so you as a database creator can look to see that the
data you want to store is being stored correctly. The ONLY reason Access allows
you to see the data returned by a query is so that you as a database creator can
see if the query is returning the correct data. If you want to display data from
a table, you need to use a form. On the form you can set alignment.
