I finally changed the print cartridges. last form I printed one was just a red blue blur. But the form it printed was aligned, and readable.
changed the print cartridges.
aligned the printer
went to print the next form [new data] and now 1 form spans 2 pages.
for ALL forms.

The form also includes an image on each form. I'll be attempting to rebuild the form [DVD case form], but I don't think that's the problem because I opened a backup I made months ago and it now spans 2 pages also. It seems to be something gone wrong in the printer setup. Only changes were replacing the cartridges, aligning and rebooting.

Probably a question for a Windows newsgroup or one for your printer's
manufacturer, but to rule out Access, check the page setup for the form and
the default margins. (Tools ... Options ... General tab)

Also check and see that the printer is set to the default printer. Any other
problem is unlikely to be one in Access.

I had to change dozens of settings in the form. IOW: The printer doesn't set itself up the same way twice.
