align excel links

Valeria

Dear experts,
I have a word document wth excel links in it (paste special ->link) which
work correctly, however are positioned higher than the Word text in the line,
which is undesired as the Word text and the Excel field should be aligned.

E.G. BATCH: Excel link

what happens today (not to this extent but to simplify) is

Excel Link
BATCH:

Is there any way I can align them?

Thanks!
Kind regards,

have you tried (for Word 2003): select link > format > font > character
spacing? Position setting should be "normal"

Hi Diane,
I ahev checked and the setting is on normal! I have used tables now to solve
the alignment problem - it is not what I wanted but it is a way to go around
the problem...
Thanks!
Kind regards
