Hi there

I think I have read somewhere that it is not possible to provide an alias
(with the OptionalNames registry key) to a Windows 2000 Domain Controller. I
would like to know if anyone has more detail on this, as well as if there is
any way in which something like this can be achieved?

Due to tragic circumstances, I am being forced to migrate the printers from
my File & Print server to somewhere else, and at this stage my only option
is my DC, but I would like to give the DC an alias for the users to connect
to so that I can manage/migrate the printers in a Disaster recovery scenario
etc...

Thanks
William R.
