Alerts

A much needed product, I like GUI interface of the
program.

I have a suggestion though...

Many of the alerts that popup, disappear before I get a
chance to completely read them. I would like to see the
capability (in the options) for the user to set
the "delay" time for a alert to remain visible.

Just a side note: I have found that there is no one anti-
spyware program that detects everything. I use multiple
programs when I feel I may have been invaded.

Yeah, I wouldn't mind that too, probably will see changes by beta 2. It does
fly away bit too quick.

Hi,
It's tough to settle for a happy medium, as some will say 'too long' and
other 'too short.' Some of 'em do fly by pretty quickly tho.

I have desktop configured with ual monitors with the second
monitor on the right side and the task bar anchored to the
left side. In this configuration the alerts just scroll by
(from bottom to top) on the right side of the primary
monitor. I don't get to see them at all.

This happens with the taskbar vertical. It doesn't happen with horizontal
taskbars. That's the workaround available.

In addition, this information should be logged in the
Event Viewer, most likely as an Application Event.

Thanks,

Or use the alt-tab utility to view the notifications if you want to keep the
taskbar to the side. In the case of the notifications, I wouldn't mind an
option to have a timer on it also notifying the user this pop will displayed
for say 10 seconds. The user can also optionally set how log it should be
displayed, 5, 10, 15. I also notice notifications do have lot of
information.
