AIW 9800 Resolution?

I have a genuine ATI AIW 9800 Pro, and the docs say resolutions up to
2048 x 1536, including the 1920's, 1920 x 1080, 1920 x 1200, 1920 x
1440. When I go to Display Properties I only see up to 1600 x 1200. Is
that because that is the max of my Samsung 213T or is there something
else? I have hooked up the Samsung both analog and digital, same thing.

I am considering an HP L2335, and don't want to drop $1600 on a monitor
if this card won't run it at 1900 x 1200.

Thanks in advance!!

The 9800 Pro AIW can't display resolutions not supported by the
monitor.....and assuming you have the correct XP drivers for that monitor
installed. You can force a resolution on the monitor using various 3rd party
applets but that's not something I would recommend. From what I can see
those particular resolutions are not supported on the monitor, which is
native at 1600x1200.

OK, so then if I buy the L2335, the 9800 will crank the proper
resolution, 1920 x 1200? Great, that is what I was hoping!!
