aiw 9600 xt sound problem

i have sound but it keeps changing volume, loud for a while then quite
for awhile then loud for awhile etc. This is when I am watching tv
and also recording tv, so it appears to be a tv tuner specific
problem, any ideas? TIA

When watching TV sound level is controlled by the port you have the AIW
connected to, usually line-in or aux. When watching delayed on the PVR sound
level is determined by the recording level and then the Wave playback. It
can be a pain to get these set to work right especially if the volume from
stations vary as much as mine do.

If you increase the recording volume while using the PVR the sound volume
won't increase until you reach that point in the recording.
