AIW 9000 TV has Pincushion

New AIW 9000 Pro 64M - On my TV, the picture is badly negatively
pincushioned like .. )_( . Everything works just fine and I'm very happy
with it except this. I'm sure there is not a software adjustment included.
Is there an internal hardware adjustment? Should I return it?

So far I have not gotten an answer from ATI. Should I expect them to answer
my on-line query?

Thanks

This may very well be the TV. If so, it's likely that reducing the
brightness or "picture" level at the TV will have a beneficial effect. The
TV can have so much overscan on a regular tv signal that the pincushion is
not noticed.

to follow up on chucks reply... there is a "overscan" button in one of the
advanced settings for the TV output.
Try enabling it.

Thanks for the help. I just sucked it up and adjusted the width and position
to move the curved areas off the sides, effectively overscanning it, and the
results are excellent when viewing recorded TV and DVD. It's not so bad that
I lose anything important, just half of the close box on a maximized window
for instance.

Thanks again.
