AIW 9000 bad cable-TV reception on PAL-N

Hello,
I've an All-In-Wonder 9000 bought with an USA TV-Tuner that is stated on
ATI's Home Page that supports PAL-N standard of my country, Argentina.
However, I'm not able to see correctly the local TV channels. Image is in
B&W with some colour stripes and audio is full of noise. When I switch to
NTSC standard, image is unsynced and audio OK. All on my computer monitor.
Have updated all my drivers to Catalyst 3.6, WDM drivers correctly installed
with no exclamation marks on device manager tab and MMC 8.5
Have reported the problem to ATI, read a dozen of raccomendations all put in
practice but still any clue about the problem.
The card runs on an ASUS A7V8X-X MoBo with Athlon XP +2.2, 512 Mb memory and
VIA KT400 chipset.
Is anyone having this kind of combination correctly working?
Thanks for the help,
Cristian.

Have you installed the new DirectX 9.0b? Apparently a lot of UK users
are having problems with their PAL-I AIWs after installing DX 9.0b. Best to
install just the security update and leave the rest of it for the next
update.
