I've got a 701MB ISO I need to burn to a 700MB disk. Normally, this would
work (over burn 1MB), however when I go to burn it, Nero is telling me to
insert the correct media. I'm putting a 700MB disk in, so I don't know what
the problem is. Do I have to enable over burning support somehwere now? I'm
using Nero 6.0.0.15.

I know this is a Windows XP group, and I know my question is a Nero
question, not a Windows XP question, but can someone still help me? Is it
possiable to use the burning crap built into XP to burn an ISO?

Thanks,

Chris Miller

You'll need to get a larger capacity CD. Windows XP's
CD Recording program is basic and does not offer ISO
burning.

hehe sounds like some sort of "copy protection".

Have you enabled overburning in Nero? It should work.

Nero's method needs you first to enable overburning at File -
Preferences - Expert settings, and then when you come to burn, you have
to change Track At Once to Disk at Once - that point is easy to miss

I'm still having the same problem. I did exactly like you said, over
burning was already enabled to "82 min", which should be plenty for
this ISO, and I've tried "Disc at Once" and "Disc at Once/96", still
gives me the same error and spits the blank CD out saying there isn't
enough room on it. I've tried different brands of discs too. These are
Memorex CD-R's currently.

Any ideas anyone?

Oh, and for whoever said sounds like copy protection.... no, this
isn't Warez...
