AGP question and how to select board

Looked up my old all in wonder radeon on ati's web site. Will it work on
the new ASUS boards that say 8x or even 4x? I notice they list voltages
for the 8x .8/1.5 and 4x 1.5v but I can't see anything in the AIW
owner's manual regarding voltages.

I didn't want to buy a new video card and would like to keep the one I
have. I hope my old hard drives are compatible I knew I'd need new
ram/cpu/mb but didn't want to fork out anymore $

# RADEON™ graphics processing unit (GPU)
# 32 MB of memory
# PCI or AGP 4X/2X universal bus
# Flicker-free refresh rates up to 200Hz
# VESA DDC 1/2b/2b+ monitor support
# Full OpenGL® and Microsoft® DirectX® support
# WDM DirectShow® compliant

Also is there ANY type of selector web page where I can enter my
requirements? On the Asus site I did see where they list the number of
usb etc, but I was thinking more of an interactive thing if one exists.

Thanks

It would have helped if you had stated what model of ATI card you have.

I have an ATI AIW Radeon 7500 and it works great on the A7N8X-deluxe
rev-2 mobo.

It is an AGP card and there is a bios setting to enable either a PCI VGA
or an AGP VGA. The default setting is PCI and I never changed it. I had
been using it that way for several weeks with no problems before I
discovered the PCI-AGP setting in bios. I firmly believe in the "If it
ain't broke, don't fix it" approach so I just left it set for PCI-AGP.

The web site listed the radeon alone but I will check the paper copy
when I get home to be sure it's just a plain old radeon.

I DID find a m/b selector, very cool

For the record, my old agp board works fine on the p4p800 deluxe. Well,
at least for the first few days after Christmas :)
