AGP 1.0 bus and modern videocard

I am using Abit be6-2 mobo where is agp videocard slot, supports AGP 1X/2X
(Sideband)3.3V device. Can I use modern fast videocards with this mobo? What
is the best card for this mobo?

I'm using a Saphire Radeon 9000 Atlantis Pro with an AGP 1x/2x 3.5v mobo
(an MS-6167). Its a Directx 8 videocard rather than Directx 9, but if
your mobo is AGP 1x/2x than your cpu probably won't cope very well with
games that fully utilise directx9.

Atleast according to ATI website, Radeon 9700 Pro supports AGP2X/3.3V. Which
could make it the best possible card for such motherboards. Best from ATI
atleast...
