Aggregate Domain Sum in Upend query

I am trying to execute an update query with an aggregate
domain sum function as illustrated in the help section,
but the query fails to execute an posts the error message
that the failure was do to a type conversion failure but
not related to key violations lock violations or
validation rules. What am I doing wrong. Dan
 
What you are doing wrong is not providing your SQL as well as the relevant
field names and data types.
