Age of Empires II in XP

Hi, I just want to ask you if I can play AOE II and
Conquerors in Windows XP PRO, and if is there some kind
of patch to play it on it??

I don't have it currently installed, but yes, AOE II does run on XP. Never
*did* get around to trying Conquerers.

The Conquerers works fine under XP. Are you going to use the games under a
limited user account Oliver?

Oliver ,
The game Ages of empires II and ages of conquerors run fine with Windows XP PRO . There might be some problem with installaion.
Take following steps :
1. Save the ssaved games files to some location outside the game say my documents.
2. Uninstall the game .
3. Reinstall it again.
4. move your saved games files to their destined location.


PS : I am myself using win XP PRO and am playing it to .
NB : Even copying a installed game to any location and playing from works .
