i used to be able to run AOE 2 when i initially got my computer late Oct. Now after several hotfix, security updates etc. when i start it i get a blank screen and the system needs a hard boot. i have looked everywhere but can't find a solution.
can anyone help?

Can you uninstall? If so, try uninstall, reinstall.

Did you go to the game's website and look for tech support, forums,
etc.? That is usually the best place for help with a game.
