After updating Win XP, should I delete the files from Add/Remove!

I just have updated Window XP Home Edition using
automatic update. After the update was done, I have so
many "Windows XP Hotfixes" with different numbers in
Add/Remove Programes. Is it safe to remove these "Windows
XP Hotfixes" from the Add/Remove Programes since windows
was updated?

No. If you remove the entries in Add and Remove Programs you will remove the
updates from your OS.

You can remove the entries by going into the registry, but if you remove
them via the add/remove button, it will uninstall the update.

Posted 'as is'. If there are any spelling and/or grammar mistakes, they

Those are there to remove the fixes if they do not work. - see the
corresponding description at
http://support.microsoft.com/?scid=kb;en-us;322011
for Hotfix Q322011

Each has a hidden folder in C:\Windows - eg $NTUninstallQ322011$
If you do not want to be able to uninstall a fix, delete that folder.
Then if you go to the entry in Add/remove and try Remove, it will fail
and give you the choice of removing the entry
