After Promote to Domain controller Update does not function

After promoting a server to Domain controller the windows update site does
not function proper anymore. After clicking on one of the two buttons Custom
or Express a error message encounters:
The website has encountered a problem and cannot display the page you are
trying to view. The options provided below might help you solve the problem.

I have seen this problem a lot lately, usely involves re-registering dll's
which error are you getting?
