after loading a new program, I lost all my messages .

After loading Wordperfect 8 and Quattro Pro 8, I lost my messages in all of
my folders( they are empty). I also lost my addressbook.

I did a search and looked thrugh the re-cyle bin and can't find them.
 
Check your hard drive for .pst files.
