After last MS update - Outlook disappeared along with all my email

And Contacts! And Calendar!

How do I get it back? I had to re-install Outlook but I need all my emails
and contacts!

I tried to import the outlook folders but it doesn't give me the option of
importing a dbx file...

HELP!

Outlook doesnt use dbx files
Outlook Express does

I know - but I was trying everything...

How would an update destroy my Outlook and all my email?

Any way to get everything back?

Please clarify - do you use Outlook or Outlook Express? These are
completely different programs; Outlook is part of Microsoft Office,
Outlook Express is part of Windows.

If you are using Microsoft Outlook, then locate your PST file and open
it with Outlook (do *not* use Import).

If you are using Outlook Express, use this newsgroup
