After installing XP SP2, some folders on network not visible

Reformatted XP Home system that is networked to XP Pro system. All was well
with the network and I could see all files, etc. on the XP Pro system until I
installed the XP SP2 program. Now folders that used to appear when I browsed
them no longer appear. I can get to them by typing the directory location
(i.e. projects/james/stuff/more) but otherwise I only see the root or one
subfolder (i.e. projects/james). I have enabled all permissions for
"Everyone" on the XP Pro system, have disabled all firewalls, have enabled
NetBIOS in the TCP/IP. All was well until XP SP2...how do I fix it? Uninstall
XP SP2?

In My Network Places, click "Add a network place" and create shortcuts
to the desired folders.

Thanks for the advice Steve, unfortunately did not work. I uninstalled SP2
and the 13 cumulative/critical/etc. patches available after SP2. Then
reinstalled SP2 without these 13 additional patches and everything worked
okay. I'm not planning on installing the additional 13 patches until I have
time to read every one in detail to understand how it affects my network. It
is definitely one of these 13 critical/cumulative/etc. patches that MS has on
their site. Thx.
