After installing W2K sp4 system still shows SP2

I've manually installed SP4 on a W2k workstation with no
errors and upon rebooting the system still shows SP2 and
not SP4.
 
From the "Run" box
winver
should display the current service pack level.
 
Don't mean to take away from the question (looks like you
already hopefully got your answer) and take up space on
the newsgroup, but are you Scott Moll as in, the old
KHDS/LDM network manager? Just curious.
