I installed Wix XP SP2 last night.
This morning I started to use Microsoft Streets & Trips. when I did so, the
colors normally associated with the map were gone and the map was black &
white except for things like pushpins that I had added. They were properly
colored.

I then opened IE and found that pages were not renereing properly.
First, the font size seemed to be 1 - 2 sizes larger than before (this is
also true in O Express).
Also, colors don't reneder properly.

All is well with Mozilla Firefox.

For an example, look at www.fidelity.com.

The light freen bar with Fidelity in white and the darker green bar below
are all white in IE. The search button is below the edit box and it blocks
the word investment whish is rendered in blue text on a white background.

In short, it is an unusable mess.

I have reinstalled the video drivers.
Uninstaled and reinstalled Internet Explorer.

Everything else seems to work properly.

Anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks,

Mac

If the obvious weren't so obscure, I'd be less confused.

For an example, look at www.fidelity.com

There is a redirect for that to
https://www.fidelity.com/
Note the change in protocol.

Do you see that? If not the other symptoms may be coincidental
and unimportant.

BTW the usual explanation for problems with colors and text size
is use of Accessibility options. This may occur accidentally
or as a symptom of malware. Note that there are Accessibility
options changed via the Control Panel applet (e.g. high contrast)
or via IE's Tools, Options, Accessibility.
