Adware

During a scheduled scan, MSAS found 'IBIS Toolbar'
discribed as Adware and automaticaly quarentined it. I
ran a full scan after and it found the IBIS Toolbar
again. I thought when something was quarentined, it was
safe, so why was it picked up again. I have since removed
it from quarentine and now rid of it and all is well.

I have the IBIS Toolbar and removed it after the full
scan. But I am still being redirected--cannot access
many web pages and keep getting to "about:blank"
with "purchase" options. Any help? Can't get to
Microsoft help as I am redirected to about:blank.

Barbara - the IBIS Toolbar item is a false positive. It
has nothing to do with about blank so far as I know. I
would suspect that you have something else on your pc.
You should probably run some programs such as LavaSoft
AdAware, Spybot S&D and post a HJT log in a help forum
somewhere.
