Advice on WAN lines

Hello all,

I hope this question is convenient for this group. My network is
expanding and more users and offices need to connect into my main site.
I was considering adding more DSL lines and leased lines to give the
best mix of quality, redundance, bandwidth and cost. I have, however,
been presented with leased line pricing that is very competitive
compared to DSL circuits and am wondering which of the following
scenarios will give me what I want:

1 x 4Mb/s leased line
or 1 x 2Mb/s leased line + 2 x 1Mb/s DSL circuits
or 1 x 2Mb/s leased line + 1 x 2Mb/s DSL circuits

What I am after doing is providing connectivity for:
..incoming/outgoing mail from main site
..remote user vpn connections into main site
..site-to-site vpn connections to main site

Can anyone tell me, from experience or knowledge, whether I am correct
in thinking that utilising a separate DSL circuit for each site-to-site
VPN, another for my remote user VPNs and a leased line for my main site
internet traffic and incoming / outgoing mail will provide a better
service to the remote sites and remote users than a single 4Mb/s leased
line?

Please point me in the direction of another forum or group to post this
to if I am in the wrong place.

Thanks.

Andrei,

Thank you very much for your reply. I was looking forward to some
response but this post does not seem to have attracted any attention.

Separate lines was my preferred solution, but I was looking for other
opinions, especially if someone had experienced this. It may be
slightly more complicated, but with under 5 lines I imagine it can be
managed fairly well.

Thanks again.
