Can anyone advise if there is any effective anti-virus/spyware tools that
will remove this software, such as the Sony rootkit type? I am obviously
behind the times on this issue, but became aware of it recently and am very
concerned about the issues it can cause as shown in the bogs mentioned below.
Please understand that I believe in anti-piracy for all software, music,
video....but this covert software downloading and the cloaking of it under
the guise of protecting their rights is not the way to go about it.

Does the Microsoft antispyware remove this potential threat/spyware?
