Advanced Search in Outlook 2003 - can't find addresses

Hi !

I'm having a hard time with outlook 2003 because I can't find a way to
do an advanced search using hosts as a criteria.

For example: I'm trying to find all emails that are from @foo.com
except those from (e-mail address removed) . So I go to the advanced options menu
and add 2 criteria:

- FROM doesn't contain (e-mail address removed)
- FROM contains @foo.com

However, it seems that the FROM and TO fields are only used by NAMES
of contacts, not for addresses. So, if I have a couple of emails like
this:

Joe <[email protected]>
Mary <[email protected]>
Suzan <[email protected]>
(e-mail address removed)

Only "(e-mail address removed)" will show up, because Outlook doesn't seem to
search the address from the FROM field when a name has been set up.

So, is this a bug? What am I doing wrong?!

Thanks in advance!

Try using "joe" in your exception and not "(e-mail address removed)"
