Advanced Find not searching sub-folders of shared Mailbox

I'm using Outlook 2003 to access my mailbox on an Exchange 2003 server
(SBS2003) and the shared mailbox of another user. When using Advanced Find
on the other mailbox it doesn't search sub-folders but it does on my
mailbox. Is there a setting I'm missing?

You're not missing anything. That's a design limitation.
