Advanced E-mail Option "Suggest Names" clears itself

Does anyone know why my Suggest Names option keeps clearing itself?

Tools-> Options-> E-mail Options-> Advanced E-mail Options-> Suggest Names...

The Suggest Names option creates the .nk2 file, but every time I log back
into Outlook, the Suggest Names option has been cleared again and my .nk2
file deleted!!!

That usually indicates a corrupt profile. Create a new one.

I know how to get the autocomplete feature to work, I just couldn't figure
out why every time I checked those options, they would be unchecked the next
day when I login again... I finally called our IT Support group and it turns
out they've configured our setup to automatically UNCHECK our options when we
login each day to purposely prevent us from using the autocomplete feature
and force us to use the company Contact list!
- a little controlling to say the least, but at least I know what's
happening now.
