Advance to "Next Slide" doesn't work in Custom Show Mode.

My presentation is broken down into several Custom Shows. I have a Main
Menu, and then 5 other sections that include navigation buttons on the bottom
right corner. The buttons allow the user to go back to the menu, and go to
the next slide.

When I start the presentation with Custom Show enabled, I lose the ability
to advance to the next slide by mouse click or even hyperlink. Once I leave
the main Menu, and enter ANY other section of the presentation, if I click
I'm immediately sent back to the main menu. If I click the hyperlink, I
still get sent back to the main menu.

There is no way for me to advance, slide after slide, while Custom Show Mode
is enabled. When I disable Custom Show Mode, I am suddenly able to navigate
normally. A general mouse click will go to the next slide, and the
hyperlinks advance properly.

Does anyone have any idea what's going on here?

Can you explain what you mean by "enable custom show"? If you mean you have
selected custom show in slide show > set up show then you dont need to do
this.

Right. By "enabling custom show" I meant going to "slide show" > "set up
show" and clicking the "custom show" radio button.

I have slides that need to loop.. and as far as I know, setting up and
enabling "custom shows" is the only way to include looping slides within a
presentation of other non-looping slides.

But.. of course the problem is that when I turn on the custom show, I get my
looping feature, but I can no longer advance to the "next slide" by mouse
click or hyperlink.

That is not "enabling" custom shows. Instead, what you have done is to
say that you only want to show that one custom show. No other slides will
be in your presentation. You might want to check out the looping tutorial
