Adshield problems?

T

Thomas Ereston

Has the latest updated affected Adshield operation?

I find if right clicking on web page to get Adshield option settings I
get a page not found error with the URL set to adshield://settings/ and
for the Maintain block List I get the same with the address set to
adshield://maintain/?http://.....

Using 98SE and ADshield 1.2 - but have also tried latest version with
the same result?

Any help welcome

Did you use Add/Remove programs applet to completely remove ver 1.2.

Then install the new version?
I did before installing the new version and had no problems.

Thanks - the 1st link advised checking the 3rd party browser setting -
which I must have turned off. Now turned back on and all working.

Thanks for reporting back, glad to hear AdShield is working.
