Adprep /forestprep Error: 52 (Unavailable)

We have two Windows 2000 DCs and want to add a third Windows 2003 ADS
server.

When we verify the end-to-end Active Directory replication with repadmin,
there is a old server entry:

The Server2 was crashed on 09.07.2003. We had to restore the server with
Vertias Backup Exec.

In ADSI-Edit, ADS-UC there is only the 2 Computers. When I try the metadata
cleanup with KB 216498 > ntdsutil there a only 2 servers.



Adprep /forestprep give the error: 52 (Unavailable)



Pleas help.

When you are performing the ntdsutil connection are you specifying an
existing dc? You can't attach to the missing dc.
