ADP Newbie: dumb question about views

D

Dave Stoecker

I have a small db on SQL2000 containing tables and views(queries) imported
from a backend Access db. The front end is an ADP containing forms,
reports, code etc. imported from the front end Access db.
I did not use the upsizing wizard because there was too much development
chaff in the mdb to clean up and it seemed simpler to just pluck out the
necessary objects.

My question:

The views stored in SQL appear in the adp as tables, but when I create a new
view in the adp it appears as a view. Is this normal? Is it indicating
that the newly created view is stored in the front end adp?

I just want to be sure what is happening before I proceed further with the
project...

TIA - dave
