adobe reader

Dear People,

I have downloaded Adobe reader onto my computer. It
doesn't want to work. It says it's been corrupted. I
downloaded it agin and the same thing happened. Has it
been associating with dubious characters and drinking beer
etc? Has anybody else had the same problem? (The
corruption, not the beer)

Did you remove all remnants of earlier versions of Acrobat Reader before
installation?
