Adobe reader

When I try to install Adobe reader 7.0.8 I ger a error which reads "Error
1316.A Network error occured while attempting to read from the file
C:\WINDOWSInstaller\adobe Reader 7.0.7.msi

A child of five would understand this. Send someone to fetch a child of five.

If you have an earlier version of Reader un-install it. Then try installing
the new version.

You might consider a diffent PDF reader. Take a look at Foxit Reader.
Loads much faster than Adobe reader and seems to work fine for me as
far as I can tell. Only been using it for about a month, but so far, I
like it better than Adobe Reader.

Hi Gordon,

See if removing the 7.0.7's version information from the system helps, using
the Windows Installer Cleanup Utility.
