Adobe Reader

Just switched to Adobe Reader 7.0 and loaded the upgrade 7.0.7. Every time
get an attachment Adobe locks up and wants me to send an error report to
windows. I have to reboot to unlock system.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Try disabling "Display PDF In Browser". It's located in
Edit/Preferences/Internet. Just uncheck it.

The best thing you could do is remove Adobe and install the free Foxit
PDF Reader. It's less than half the size and starts up in a fraction
of a second.

G'day Littlejoe,

May I suggest that you uninstall Reader 7.0 and then go to the Adobe web
site to download Reader and say that you are only running Windows 98. They
will then allow you to only download Reader 6.0. Reader 7.0 is very flakey!

Go with Reader 4 if you can. Fast loading, no problems.
