Adobe Reader won't open

When clicking on a pdf link, I receive a blank screen with
an icon in the top left corner. Acrobat Reader works fine
with everything but IE6. Any help?
 
I hand the same problem .. I reinstalled AR and it
reindexed the associated files and worked fine.
