Adobe Photoshop won't open after installing Hotfix

I have Adobe Photoshop 7.0, after I installed Windows security update it won't open. I tried to reinstall Photoshop, still won't open. The photoshop will preload the plug-ins and all, but it automatically shut down after the preload. Please help.

You will have to sign up (it's free) and then post in

i am having same problem with adobe 6.0 professional and
adobe reader 6.0.

I have found that if you change users on the system the
adobe program will work. Logoff and logon to windows as
another user.
