I did something that I didn't intend to do and now I can't remove.
every time I click on a word doc to open, adobe starts creating an adobe
PDF, I have to wait, its maddening.. I do not know how to stop this from
happening.

HELP!!!!

Does it try to create a .pdf or is it trying to open a Word doc with
Acrobat? That's a compleltely different situation. Do you have Acrobat or
just the free Adobe Reader?

when I click on a word doc to open the adobe arobat standard opens first,
then another box pops in middle and it says: creating adobe pdf, inside box
it indicates: starting the application which created the selected doc please
wait. in meantime the doc opens in back ground, I'll click on the doc to open
and edit. If I was to close the adobe box it will also close my word doc. so
I have to wait and go around the adobe pop up. very time consuming and
frustrating. I would jst like the word doc to open quickly when I click it as
it use to with out the adobe opening. ARRGH!
thanks for your help, hopefully!
