I operate on Windows XP, through a network router. While on line no PDF,
Adobe, or Multimedia files will not open from web sites. I have no trouble
getting on line or using the web. None of these files will open. The error
message says could not access the server. I am lost. Help

Do you get any error messages when trying to open these files? Do you have
adobe reader installed on the machine? Can you manually open PDF files? What
type of multimedia are you trying to open?

I have both Adobe reader and Microsoft Multi Media programs installed and
both worked in the past.

For Adobe the error message is "Internet Explorer cannot download "file
Name" from "site". Internet Explorer was not able to open this internet site.
The requested site is either unavailable or cannot be found. Please try again
or later." I get this message every time and on all sites when tryonf to
download or open a pdf file from a web site.

For microspft Multi Medis the erroe message is " The server redirected the
player to an invalid location" "C00D2EEA"

I cannot open the files manually either.

Sorry to take so long in getting back to you. Out of Town. thansk for your
interest.
