Adminstrator Help

This Problem has given me a lot of headaches.

When I go to save a document to CD or DVD a message comes on telling me that
this cannot be done because my adminstrator will not alow this to be done.
Who else is my adminstrator if I'm not the adminstrator. I'm the only person
who uses this computer

How are you trying to save the document? The native CD burning app in XP
will not allow you to save any document directly to the CD/DVD (in fact the
native XP burning app won't burn DVDs anyway AFAIK). The only way you can do
this is to pre-format the CD/DVD for packet writing, again, something that
the built-in CD burning app in XP won't do. You need a third-party app to do
that.

Thanks Gordon for answering the question
I was use to saving the document in 98 by just moving and saving the
document to disk but now I can't unless I copy and Paste the Document. I'm
use to Putting in a disk pull up the document I want double clicking on the
document and it appears on the hard drive now I cannot. I back up all my
accounts to disk by using back up I seem to have problems using that way to.
I just thought I would ask a question about the adminstrator since since that
person stands in my way on a lot of ventures.
