Administrators name appears in the drive mappings after
installing windows XP on workstations that connect to a
windows 2000 server with a log on script. Problems do
not affect windows 2000 workstations connecting to the
same server. These workstations also connect to several
other servers but, the administrators name does not show
up on those drive mappings. Checked the fileserver for
drive details and they are clear.

Example: marketing on 'john (fileserver)'(M)

How to remove the admins name?

Check the description field of the problematic server to see if that
contains the word "john". Remove it, if it does.
