i have only one user account and it was the
administrator, and my daughter accidentily made it a
limited account, now i have no administrator control

XP Pro or XP Home? Was this actually the "Administrator" account or just
your personal account that you gave Administrator access to? If it was the
later, there is likely still the builtin Administrator account on the box.

If you are in a domain, any Domain Admin can reset permissions of
individual accounts.

Greetings --

Simply log in using the built-in Administrator account (which
cannot be deleted) and modify the desired account. By design, the only
way to log into the Administrator account of WinXP Home is to reboot
into Safe Mode. For WinXP Pro, pressing CTRL+ALT+DEL twice at the
Welcome Screen will produce the standard login dialog box.
