--from the internet, but how? One of my kids recently
downloaded four .zip files, all of which contained
trojans. I quarantined them via Norton AV, but now want
to block him from downloading anything else. (This is WXP
for home use). He NOW has a limited account. What else do
I have to do?

Thanx--RT,

You would need to get a third-party software to
intercept download attempts and block them.
If this child is not that inventive, you could with
work make it so that they do not have write access
to any obvious locations, but in the end this route
would prove unsatisfactory. To log in and function
any account must be able to write some places. So,
eventually just were writing downloaded files is
possible would be discovered.
