When I originally setup my Windows XP PRO machine I did not setup an
administrator password.
I did set up a user account for myself and therefore have administrative
privileges. If I create a password for my self, upon startup I am prompted
for my password to sign on..this I understand.
However, If I were to start the PC in safe mode and choose to sign on as the
administrator, I am not required to provide a password. Probably because I
did not establish a password originally.
If I sign on with my user name a password is required.
Unfortunately I now realize that one could boot my computer in safe mode,
sign on as the administrator and make changes only an administrator should
be able to do.
My question is how can I now setup an administrator with a password in
addition to having me as a user with administrative privileges ?
Thanks in advance,
