Administrator Problems XP Pro

I am still trying to get answers to a question that I
asked this morning.
After having all of the permissions that an administrator
can expect on xp Pro, I suddenly lose them. Can't edit
websites that I have designed in FrontPage nor can I
download my virus definition files from Command Software
site. If I create a new admin account, I immediately
have those permissions again. How can I stop this from
happening. This is 3 times in 3 months.
This is affecting my ability to make a living. I am at a
loss. I would appreciate help from anyone who is
familiar with this. I have asked scores of people and no
one seems to know.

I'm presntly working on a solution for you. This is a
somewhat complicated deal as there are numerous places
something like this could be occuring. I need alot more
info though.

The email is above without the nospam. Send as many
paticulars as possible. Whats installed, recently
installed when chages occured, etc.

I saw your reply to the post a few times back.
What I would still like to know is whether an account where
this has happened is premanently changed, or whether the
failures only last for remainer of the then current boot.
After a fresh boot, the account is still unable to do these things?
Also, where are the FP webs - remote or on this same machine?
You say the FP and AV update behaviors are about the only
thing that is consistent when this happens - are there other things
that turn sour when this has happened ?
