Administrator password - expire

I want to change the administrators password to expire. This option in ADUC is grayed out. Can this be done?
 
No - just change it whenever you need to. You don't want this account
expiring on its own. Don't give the password to people - have them use their
own admin-equivalent accounts if they need to log in.
 
You cant set built-in accounts to expire.
