My neighbor has Windows XP on an Emachine. The user
accounts have been password protected and I am trying to
help. How do you get in as administrator when all accounts
have been protected? I cannot even get to the start button
to get to the user accounts. Help please. Thanks

In XP Home, boot into Safe Mode.
In XP Pro, at the welcome screen, press Ctl-Alt-Del twice, and you should
see the W2K style log on box. Type in the details.
