Administrator login

I've seen several references to needing to log in as Administrator to perform
some functions. I'm running XP Home at home and I don't h have an
administrator account setup (to my knowledge). My username is set up with
administrator priviledges. Is that sufficient for these tasks?

I can bring up the login screen and type in Administrator as the username,
but since I never set one up, I don't know the password. Is there a default
Administrator password?

Thanks.

Hi,

By default there is an Administrator account is created during the setup
of WindowsXP. When an additional account is created the Administrator
account becomes hidden. When you type in administrator, leave the
password blank and press enter to access this account.

The Admin user account you are using has the same privileges as the
hidden account.
